Trial & Tribulations of Migrant Women in the
Hush & Hustle of Mumbai
With incomes falling and roles increasing, Mumbai's Migrants are still recovering from the Pandemic's knockout. The brunt of the lockdown largely impacted those from informal working classes with no signed contracts and no promised futures. Women from these labour classes were most effected amongst inflation, lifestyle choices, reproducing and providing. This issue covers the testing times of those trials faced by women new to the city lights, finding calm in the storm.
